SNEAK-PEEK New ALFRED PENNYWORTH BATMAN Mego-Style RETRO-ACTION Series 3
Here's some great news from the FIGURES TOY CO. They have plans to release an ALFRED PENNYWORTH Mego-Style Clothed Doll as a part of their"Batman Retro Action" Figures Series #3.
Other characters will include Bruce Wayne BATMAN with Removable Cowl, Dick Grayson ROBIN THE BOY WONDER with Removable Mask, and BATGIRLwith Removable Cowl. Oh yeah, they're all about 8" tall, just like the old ones.
We're kinda making a big deal out of the "Alfred Pennyworth" Figure because "Alfred stuff" just doesn't pop-up that much. Plus, this is the first time the character has been styled like a Vintage Mego-Style Doll.

Raymond's BATMAN MOVIE TRILOGY Tribute TATTOO ART Photo
For years now I have featured the photos of Batman Fans who have got "Batman-themed" Tattoos. I appreciate everyone who has sent us a pic and also the way they're so creative at it. Here's one I got from a Bat-Blog Fan over at our BAT-BLOG FACEBOOK page. If you're not a member there, then we invite you to join now... Hey! It's Free!!
But anyways, back to the cool Bat-Tat. Here's one from our friend Raymond who said this is the 1st wave of his brand-new "Batman: The Dark Knight Movie Trilogy Tribute" Tattoo. He said that he has plans to also add design-motifs of the Joker and Bane. So, later there will be 3 characters represented. Sounds awesome!
(Thanks for sharing this photo Raymond, your Bat-Tat looks really great so far and you picked a good stop-point too. Please keep us updated with a new pic later, ha!)

Video: TOKYO TOY GUY MOVIE - Vintage BATMAN TOYS at the BAT-CAT MUSEUM in Bangkok!
This post is the very first major excerpt we have from the TOKYO TOY GUY Documentary Film by our friend, and Director of the movie we should add, Yuji Ueda. Yes, this is the film that focuses on different major BATMAN TOY COLLECTIONS from all over the world. It's crazy cool!!
In this first clip we get to visit another good friend, and Asia's top Batman collector, Mr.Somchay, at his BAT-CAT Toy Museum in Bangkok, Thailand.
This place is a total dreamland for Batman Fans and I seriously hope to get the chance to go there someday. But hey, here in Yuji's video we get a totally wonderful tour of the building.
It's also nice to see "BAT-CAT" speak and move. Please let me explain, ha ha! I've been "online friends" with him for many years and to get the chance to see him in real-life (moving and speaking ) is kinda cool. The only way I have known him is he's a very nice guy and really loves the character, very cool.
Also, Please stay tuned to the BAT-BLOG because over the next few weeks we will start sharing different segments of the TOKYO TOY GUY Movie. They will be featured in separate videos, one each for each different city: Manchester, Bangkok, Singapore, Dubai, Tokyo & New York.
Funny BATMAN HUMOR PHOTOS & IMAGES - Hellz Yeah!!
Up above and down below are some totally funny pieces of BATMAN-THEMED HUMOR for you to enjoy. I mean, they're all so completely hilarious I can't decide which one I like the best, ha!
Side Note:
Dear Bat-Blog Fans and Readers,

FREE Bat-Blog BATMAN-THEMED DESKTOP WALLPAPER
OK, For many years we used to have a tradition here at the BAT-BLOG called "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday" and I'm thinking about bringing it back. For a long time almost everybody had the same screen resolution so that made it easy. Then, it all went to heck and I was gonna have to make about 3 different sizes of each to keep people happy. Now for some strange reason everybody pretty much has the same size again, or near the same.
The size-format I'm going with is 1440 X 900, which is wide I know, but it works for the largest number of people. (Click on them to see their full size)
Most of these images explain themselves pretty good but here we go:
1. Batman: The Animated Series,
2. Humor Graphic ("Nanna, Nanna, Nanna, Nanna... Batman!", Get it? ),
3. and then, last but not least, is a modern day rendering of Adam West's Batman and Cesar Romero's Joker, as done by the legendary comic book artist Michael Allread (Madmen Comics).

BATMAN - Current Batmobile News!
Here's a random group of photos I collected recently that all sort of scream, "Batmobile theme!". So, here we go! The first pic is from our good buddies out in New Jersey with the Gotham Supercars Club. Our friend Batdave, and his trusty sidekick, Buster The Dog (center), visited John and Jeff (far left & right) yesterday at the garage.
Next up is sort of a preview of a brand-new toy release. Actually, it's a Classic 1966 BATMAN TV Series item, a KEY CHAIN in the shape of the 1960's Batmobile. They're being made by NJ Croce and will be coming out next month. They will also have key chains that are small figures of Batman, Robin, & maybe, The Joker... all themed after the 60's TV Show. Like, the one of Batman is the "Adam West" version.
Then, last but not least, here's a sneak-peek preview of what the Batmobile car is gonna look like in the new "SON OF BATMAN" DC Universe Movie coming out later.

Jim Lee's NEW BATMAN Artwork For Detective Comics #27 Variant Cover!
This is just a quick post to share this photo we got from Jim Lee (DC Comics). It's shows some of the fine detail in his artwork that will be appearing as a variant cover for the new issue of Batman's Detective Comics #27. He said he gave Batman a gun because, "that's how he started back in 1939." Click on it for a larger, more detailed, version.
Very COOL CUSTOM BATMOBILE Batman-Inspired Cars!
One thing is for the sure, the beauty of Batman's Batmobile is so awesome that it inspires many crafty inventive people to customize their own personal vehicle. Here's some great examples:
The first pic is something that came across my desk at random. I feel bad because I forget where it came from. It had to be sent to me by a friend or I saw it online. Anyways, HEE HAWWW! It looks like some race car guy has done made himself a Bat-Mo-Bile! *bang! *bang! *bang!
To the left is a pic I know I got from a friend over at our BAT-BLOG Facebook page. His name is Michael and he was kind enough to share this photo of HIS own personal car that he has been customizing himself, it's called... The BAT-HONDA! OK, it looks like he has ONLY added some black bat-wings to the back side-windows, but it is coming along just fine, a good start. (Thanks Michael)Then, down below, here's another pic from a friend (at Facebook too) named James. He shared this pic of HIS Custom Chevy Camaro that has a huge mural-size image painted on it with graphics from the recent "Christopher Nolan Trilogy" movies (be sure to click on it!)

AS A SIDE NOTE:

Then, from the Westland Giftware Company, we'll get these ultra-cool Retro-Style JOKER items. The ite on the left is a Night Light and it's coming out in March, 2014. It will retail for about $19.00.

SUPERMAN VS BATMAN Concept Art - Ben Affleck's Bat-Suit
OK, First off, Please don't take this SUPERMAN VS BATMAN Movie News as gospel. This drawing is NOT official and it was drawn by an Artist named Steve Scott and if I have my information correct then he is an actual art director for Hollywood movies. Plus, he has also worked in the past with the Director, Christopher Nolan (who is very well known for NOT being the person directing the next bat-movies).
But that all being said, I think this drawing was done on a more personal note for the artist. I think he just wanted to see what the Actor, Ben Affleck, would look like as the Dark Knight.
