The new issue of EMPIRE MAGAZINE lands this week and the front cover packs a mighty punch! We movie fans get to see another new image of Batman and Superman (Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill ) who will star in the next HUGE Warner Bros Superhero Movie, BATMAN V SUPERMAN: Dawn Of Justice! This is the September 2015 issue and is probably out already, or just about to hit, So be sure to keep an eye out for it at your favorite bookstore or newstand!

Check out this awesome video footage shot at the 2015 Parksville Beach Sand Castle Art Contest, they're insane! Now, of course, my personal favorite is the Sculpture with "Batman and Joker" (shown up above), but there were some other great masterpieces of sand art featured there too!!
Here's a quick post to share a photo I came across online. Someone spotted a new set of boxed toys at Toys R Us. They're made by Mattel and are a part of their Classic 1966 BATMAN TV Series toy line.
One boxed set includes 3 actions figures of Batman, Robin the Boy Wonder, and Batgirl! The other set is a special "To The Batcave" play set that is meant to go with your figures. It also looks like it comes with a "Bruce Wayne (Adam West) figure with interchangeable head, ha! This set also has a Bat-Computer, Bat-Zooka,a Shakespeare Bust, Red Telephone or Bat-Phone, 3 Batarangs, Bat-Radio, Bat-Megaphone, and probably some other stuff we can't see... it's SO FREAKIN' AWESOME!
If the price tags on the shelf are correct then it looks like these both have a retail price of around $50 (Batgirl Set) to $30 (Batcave) each. ($50 for 3 figures? OUCH!).

Seems like ever since Warner Bros and DC Entertainment leaked the new SUICIDE SQUAD movie trailer at the recent SDCC event everybody has been going crazy inventing some fun memes to share. Here are just a few I thought were pretty funny or kinda clever. Actually, the one with the "Joker-Lambo" Car, is a behind the scenes shot of them filming in Canada, but the photo is really good quality so I'm posting it here. Stu, a friend of ours over at the BAT-BLOG FACEBOOKPage, just sent us this really great photo showing off his brand-new Batman Tattoo Art. Actually, it's the JOKER from the 1966 TV Series and it looks exactly like the Actor Cesar Romero! This beautiful artwork was done by an Artist named Rich Bayley and we gotta say that he did a very excellent job. (Hey Guys, Thanks for sharing!)

This was a bootleg movie made in the Philippines that has become a cult classic. It was made around the time of the 1966 BATMAN TV Series. I guess, to capitalize off it's fame. I recommend watching it with an open mind. I mean, it's not in English and you will have to follow a story line that is insane. I mean, it's SO super-cheesy! I have a lot of friends who are Women and they all say it's kind of hard sometimes to find BATMAN-Themed T-Shirts to wear. Well, our friend Melissa was at Walmart recently and spotted all of these beauties.... so, Ladies, quick yer whining! (Ha Ha). I really like the one with a bunch of vintage Batman comic book logos but the pink one is cute too. (Thanks Melissa, great pics!)
Here's some fun Batman news we're very actually very proud to be sharing. Our good friend Luka, known as "Batman Romagnolo", and his Wife (who plays Catwoman) were both featured on a local TV News program in their country. They live in Italy and they recently went to a HUGE Cosplay Event there and were all dressed-up. Now, it's all in Italian but the video footage is really fun to watch. You can see a ton of great characters and they gave Luka some good screen time. Check it out!

Oh man, here's some sad news to report. It appears that Warner Bros is removing their giant-size wall mural they have had at their WB Animation Building for awhile. This came out around the time that BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD and NEW TEEN TITANS Cartoons were popular on TV. The mural also contained some of the older Looney Tunes characters that they have always been famous for. Here's a photo down below showing the removal, we will miss it deeply.

This new Bat-Suit has been making a lot of appearances in the new movie trailers and everyone should notice that it is heavily inspired by Frank Miller's 1986 Graphic Novel Book, BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS. OK, this brand-new movie trailer for BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, which everyone has probably already seen (it went super-viral on the web like crazy as soon as it came out, ha ha) premiered at this year's 2015 San Diego Comic-Con and it is insanely GREAT! Oh man, this movie just keeps looking better and better. Plus, this is sort of the 1st time I have seen the Wonder Woman in action and Gal Gadot looks awesome as the character! Here's some "Batman Collector news" that I am actually super-excited about! Right now, in Mexico, Nabisco is selling "BATMAN OREOS"!! Yes, Chocolate Cookies with the Batman Logo on them! It also looks like they come with some FREE STICKERS so that's kinda neat. They come in a double-sided box (one side meant for displaying horizontally, the other, a "vertical" design). I totally love the graphics on here and I seriously want a few boxes of these. They're crazy-cool! If someone in Mexico could help me out then please let me know, thanks!! OK, This is some ultra-obscure "Batman News" but it's also super-wacky fun so, here we go. Ha ha! Now, do you remember the scenes in the 1992 BATMAN RETURNS movie where there was a group of wacky villains called "The Red Triangle Circus Gang"? They were a gang of crazy circus performers who terrorized Gotham City. Some of the members wore "Evil Skeleton Creature" costumes and were known as the "Skull Cycle Riders". Well, the original movie props used in the film have recently popped-up in a new episode of HBO's SILICON VALLEY. Don't believe me? Check out these TV screenshots captured by our friend Jeff Englund!

Here's some great news for friends living on the other side of the globe but kinda crappy for us who live in the United States, ha ha! Basically, it's a hamburger place and right now they are offering DC Comics' Superhero Meals that come with some extremely awesome promo character glasses! Yes, you read that right, promo glasses! I grew-up with these things in the 1970's and restaurants here in the US have stopped offering these a long time ago (lawsuits probably).
