This is pretty big comic book news, maybe not, but DC Comics announced the other day that Batman is going to get a whole new look. Here's a sneak peek at the latest version of his bat-suit (or costume). It looks like they have brought back the classic "yellow oval" chest emblem, that's cool. It also looks like he has a new utility belt in a light gray, almost white, color. So, I'm now curious. What do YOU think about it? Please leave some comments.

DC Comics Showcases New Bat-Suit For BATMAN in The Comic Book
This is pretty big comic book news, maybe not, but DC Comics announced the other day that Batman is going to get a whole new look. Here's a sneak peek at the latest version of his bat-suit (or costume). It looks like they have brought back the classic "yellow oval" chest emblem, that's cool. It also looks like he has a new utility belt in a light gray, almost white, color. So, I'm now curious. What do YOU think about it? Please leave some comments.

not a fan. dislike the yellow oval. now add some bat nipples and we have a winner!!
It looks like Panther suit from batman Forever
Meh. Another change that doesn't amount to much. Just like after "Knightfall" when Bruce came back with a "bold new costume design" that was basically the same old costume only with the underwear on the inside (which seems less bold, actually...)
Oval added, oval removed, oval added back again...Ears lengthened, ears shrunk, ears lengthened again...It's all a cycle and it'll never end. I don't see anything from this (admittedly incomplete) sneak peek that couldn't have been put down to a specific artist's style. Indeed, many artists have already done wilder stuff with the outfit in "in continuity" stories.
At least he didn't get leggings and a jacket like Jim (Livin' In the 90s) Lee gave Wonder Woman)
I'm glad they went back to the yellow oval also, I don't think they would use a white utility belt it looks more gray looking, Overall I think it looks good, At least they didn't give Batman a ridiculous teenager look like Wonder Woman's costume.

Initially, it looks like they lifted the bat symbol from the Michael Keaton days. meh.
However, looking again, it looks like there is a metallic and/or lense quality to it. I hope it isn't some kind of Chest Bat signal or Iron manish beam.
The belt is probably suppose to be silver or metal, hence the grey-white.
Overall, it does not make me go wow. More like why?

YAY return of the yellow oval! Loving the new look!
It looks like his chest emblem is set up more like a shield. The yellow acts like a target, and in this case it might deter shooters from actually aiming for his heart. The yellow emblem looks a little too small for my liking, but I'll get used to it.
I'll miss the black underpants I think.

I think having the emblem on the belt buckle is a little redundant.
Awesome suit. I like the utility belt, and the yellow bat symbol. Belt's like Batman/Superman. Yellow bat symbol goes way back. Can't wait to see the comic. This has to be Bruce Wayne's costume when he comes back.
