DC Direct just announced a few new toys for 2010...what?! Yeah, I really hate getting toy news this early about new products but these are pretty funny so I just had to share them. On January 20th, 2010, DC Direct will be releasing BLAMMOIDS! They are 2.5 to 4 inch tall PVC Mini Figures of some of their world's greatest superheroes and their villains. They'll have about three points of articulation. Included in the 1st Wave will be Batman, The Joker, Green Lantern, Sinestro, Firestorm, & Aquaman! So, what do you think of these? These look pretty cool. Certainly different. It'd be nice if a first wave (or any wave featured a favorite character of mine, but I know I'm just being ridiculous.)

These are just too weird looking. Batman and GL particularly look like they have wedgies.
I said the same on my blog about these. I like these alot and I don't usually go for those minimates or kubricks. The flame coming out of Firestorms head is very cute.
yeah DC is putting out more and more crap the quality stuff is gettin far between I will have to pass on these.
Someone thought these were a good idea? Do they still have a job?
