Vintage 1966 George Barris Batmobile Car Spotted in Modern Day NIGHTWING Comic Book

A friend named Dave sent this pic because he knows I don't read NIGHTWING comics but in a recent issue ( # 152 ) they had an event that happened in the Bat-Cave & Nightwing used the 1966 Batmobile Car ( the one you normally see in the 1960's Batman TV Show with Adam West & Burt Ward ) to run down a few ninjas! The car looks awesome, in all it's glory! Plus, it's kinda funny to see it in a modern day comic book, ha ha! Thank Dave for sharing this. Readers, be sure to click on the above graphic for a larger, more detailed, photo!

There was an equally interesting story recently, it was either somewhere in the finale of the R.I.P event or a recent issue of detective I believe; I shall have to check, but it was a story, again in the Batcave where Batman was battling Hush.

There were lots of little treats to be spooted for Bat fans in the cave, including the Tumbler!

Scott.

Isn't there a section of the Batcave where the Batman keeps all of the old rides? Cool to know that this one still runs!

Yea, They actually frequently do things like this.

In the issue mentioned by the other posters here, the Batmobile from the two recent movies can also be seen.

And in a recent issue of detective, there is an address called "1939 Kane St."
