OK, at the ACTION FIGURE INSIDER website they presented some very cool photos they acquired this weekend at the 2009 NYCC ( New York City Comic Con ) in NYC. They show a lot of the new toys & merchandise from the Mattel Booth but this set of Two-Face & The Joker figures has me for a total loop! These figures look giant-sized compaired to the other regular-size action figures...what's up on these? Are they making a whole new scale?! Oh my god, they're awesome!! Of course these are the characters from The Dark Knight Batman movie. The Heath Ledger version of the Joker, this size, is wayyyy too cool! The base the large Joker is standing on looks the same as the base that came with the large rotocast Batman (and variant Batman with Bruce Wayne/Blae head.) So maybe these are coming in that series?
On a second note - I love the Bruce with ski mask Movie Masters figure - I hope to GOD that isn't a variant like the Ghoul and maskless Batman Movie Masters figures that I never found at retail!

the first figure with the full suit is a real twelve inch figure which will be marketed, and the two face and jail cell joker twelve inch figures are simply prototypes for the six inch figures. they will be shrunken down by half their size later on.
Great action figure... i really wanted to have that.... i'm die hard fan of joker.. oh by the way, nice blog... congrats....

I also like how this Comic Convention was in New York. But i also like how the Large The Joker is standing. And it's funny how you mention it because i brought him a long time ago for Retailer for my Collection at Toysrus and he was not hard to find but still when i paid $20.99 for him i brought him and also he was expensive by the Way, But when i was playing with him he broke and his head fell off. He's not a toy for playing but a Collector's item and for displaying.
I also like the way that Mattel showcases their figures for this line of The Dark Knight. And i like how good the toys look. But i also have that same Bruce Wayne with his Ski Mask, And i brought him at Toysrus for a good price of $12.99 dollars, And i also have that Two-Face figure as well. But i don't have the Bank Robber Version of The Joker when he was robbing a Bank. But i also have both 10 inch figures of both Batman and The Joker and they are now in my collection.
