Vintage Batman Toys : RARE Japanese Items

I guess if you're a regular reader of the BAT-BLOG then you'll know that we are totally goo-goo over both vintage & foreign Batman toys. Here's some really great examples of some 1960's Batman items from Japan. The 1st photo is an extremely cool BAT-PHONE made for the Japanese market. We love the groovy vintage graphics on the box & it's neat to see the word "Batman" in Japanese, way cool! The 2nd photo is a very RARE Batmobile item that is sort of a trinket box. Actually it's more like a Pencil Box. I have a friend who has one of these & she will NOT part with it for anything. ( Some day it will BE MINE, ha ha! ). The last item is a retro Batman Pencil Sharpener from Japan. I couldn't remember if we posted this picture before, but who cares, it's ultra-cool!! If any readers have some nice stuff like this to share then please send photos.

That Batman trinket/pencil box was one of my prized possessions when I was a child. Thanks for posting that picture.

I can't believe how some of those old foreign toys totally get the color scheme wrong! Red cape and yellow boots? WTF?!?
