Our first example is this awesome "Batmobile Parachute Pickup Service Van" Custom Toy made by our good friend, Batmobilly. He made this from a Scooby-Doo Mystery Van and did a really great job on it!

Now, Serious Fans of the 1966 BATMAN TV Series are gonna instantly recognize this "Bat-Van" right away but for those who are unfamiliar with this "Famous Bat-Vehicle" then please check out the video down below:

Deane's Custom BATMAN MIDGET RACER CAR Model Kit!

Check out this great pic we just got from a friend named Deane. He was inspired by a Golden Age BATMAN Comic Book (Actually I think it was an issue of "World's Finest" ) where they featured Batman, Superman, and Robin racing in some Midget Racers!!

Now, at the time of this post, I couldn't find that exact vintage issue but as an example I'm showing this Japanese Reprint ( Hey, same image but even maybe a little more cool, ha! ).

WOW! Deane did a great job at making this car, it looks AWESOME! Hey Readers, for more information on the creation of this cool Custom Toy please be sure to visit Deane's website, WHEN BATMOBILES FLY!

( Thanks Deane for sharing the fun pic)

NEW 2013 BATMAN TOYS & PRODUCTS - Retail News

Here's a quick post to share some recent "Retail Store" News concerning Batman Toys and Merchandise. It's not really news about soon to be released products, like we normally do, but just some fun facts.

First off, the 1st two pics are from our friend and Ace Bat-Reporter Batmobilly! He found these 2 items in his local Target Store ( I was there last night and saw them too ).

The first photo is that BATMAN UNLIMITED Action Figure ( Mattel ) of "Planet-X Batman". Ugggg, I really don't like this toy, but it does come with a really great mini-figure of Bat-Mite!!

He also saw this "Target Exclusive" Justice League Action Figure Set ( Mattel ). It comes with 7 figures and retails for about $50 bucks, ouch!

Then, the last 2 photos are mine, some stuff I bought last night. OK, by random chance I looked at the "Hot Wheels area" and there were 2 of these new 2013 Hot Wheels "BATMAN LIVE" Batmobile Cars so I grabbed them up! I mean, I really like this car and it is tied-into a special event. Plus, they were only 99 cents, ha!

Speaking of cheap deals, Target has these Apptivity "Dark Knight Rises" Batman Movie Toys on Clearance for only $5.00 ( that's half price, might go lower ). I bought the "Black one" but they also had the blue and gold versions as well. The figure is kinda cool, I love the packaging, and it's sort of an unusual-weird item. Plus, hey, only 5 bucks!

Have YOU spotted anything recently in stores that is Batman-related? if so then please let us know. Thanks!

CLASSIC BATMAN TV SERIES Event Held at Meltdown Comics LA - Photos and Video!

The other night, in Los Angeles, CA at the Meltdown Comic Book Store, DC Comics and Warner Bros Entertainment held an event where they celebrated the opening of the "Classic 1966 BATMAN TV Series" franchise.

President Jim Lee was there, along with Adam West! George Barris even brought one of his '66 Batmobile Cars!! This was in conjunction with the Junk Food Clothing Company who has released several Vintage-Style T-Shirts. I've already shown a ton of them here in a previous post but down below is a new one I have not see yet ( I love that Graphic! ). Oh yeah, Mattel showed off their new line of Action Figures and Rubie's Costumes even displayed a few of their new products as well.

My good friend, Scott Sebring, went to the event ( Jealous!! ) and he got some great photos that he shares at his blog ( He took that photo up above showing the giant store display poster they had in their window ). You can visit his site, and do because there are some amazing photos, but also please be sure to check out the video down below. Then, CLICK HERE to visit Scott's website!

Some of the brand-new Classic 1966 BATMAN TV Series Products announced at the recent Meltdown Comics event were these Batman '66 Gift Bags and Tags, Greeting Cards, and 2014 Calendar! Really?! Are they trying to torture me with a TON of new merchandise that they know I will HAVE TO HAVE?!! Ha Ha! The Gift Tags are kinda weird, I like that.

Oh yeah, I don't have a photo of the Greeting Cards here (sorry) but you can see them by visiting my friend Scott Sebring's Blog, CLICK HERE!

MATTEL TOY NEWS - BATMAN Classic TV Series BATUSI DANCE FIGURE Set for 2013 SDCC Exclusive

At the Meltdown Comics event the other night Mattel announced they will have a Special Boxed-Figure coming out with the 1966 BATMAN Classic TV Series toy line! It will be the "BATUSI DANCE" Figure of Adam West and is also an EXCLUSIVE Figure at the 2013 San Diego Comic Con ( SDCC ).

The artwork for the Window-Box packaging ( shaped like a Vintage Television! ) was done by a popular Graphic Artist named SHAG (the pics here show the front/back of the box so you can groove on it ). His snazzy artwork is known to be very retro in style and kinda groovy, so that's cool! Also, if you look at the lower right-hand side of the front of the box... are those "Speaker Holes"? Wow, maybe this thing will have sound too, ha!!

Oh yeah, please be sure to click on these 2 photos here for much larger & sharper pictures ( they have much better detail ).

BATMAN WALLPAPERS - New Mattel Action Figure of Cesar Romero as THE JOKER!

OK, I know it's kind of wacky, but I thought it would be fun to celebrate the NEW 1966 BATMAN Classic TV Series Action Figures that are being made by Mattel with this amazing photo of THE JOKER Figure! It's based on the Actor, Cesar Romero, and as you can see from the pics, the Prince of Crime still has his "painted-over mustache", ha ha!

OK, This is just a quick post to share some news about brand-new BATMAN COLLECTIBLES with Toy Collectors. The 1st photo was sent in by our good buddy, Rich. He spotted these Monogram "Batman and Robin" Figures at Toys R Us the other night and I think they're cool!

Then, here's a prototype pic of a Batman product that will be released later in 2013, it's a nice Vintage-Style "Batman and Robin" Batmobile as a Snow Globe, WACKY!! Now, before you get all excited, this thing seems pretty small to me. I mean, it only measures about 2 1/2" tall. But look for it to be available around early May.

Now, sadly, I live pretty far away from there so I won't be able to visit - but if you check out this publicity photo up above you can see some on display in their store.
