OK, I recently got some amazing photos from a few Friends over at Facebook who all live in different parts of the World. So, I thought I'd share them as one post titled "Around The World Wackiness!". Yes, my concept is stupid but these pic are really great, check it out! The 1st one is a photo of Comedian Kevin Meaney. During a recent trip to Vietnam He found this Giant-Size BATMAN Statue at the entrance to a "Cave" at some Theme Park. It's crazy!Next up is a fast Photo, shot with a Cel Phone, by our Friend Mauricio in Santiago City, Chile! Just in time he caught this Subway Car going by that is advertising the BATMAN LIVE World Arena Tour. He said that he and his family are defiantly going to that show!Last, but not least, is a random photo from the USA where some Kid is getting a special BATMAN Haircut. OK, now how cool is that?! That hairstylist is a true Artist!
Here's a quick post to share some cool artwork! A Friend of ours has recently started a new Art Project where they're posting "Silver-Age DC Comics Superhero" Comic Cards done in a cute cartoon retro-style. The choice of obscure random characters is pretty awesome and eventually there will an entire complete set of Playing Cards. Now, they have only made a few cards so far so here's your chance to start collecting them, just click HERE!
Over at Facebook a friend there recently shared this amazing JOKER TATTOO ART he recently had done. Of course this is the version from the recent BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Video Game. How cool is that!!? Thanks Carlos, Your Bat-Tat looks GREAT!
OK, I know this video is in Spanish and, if you're like me, you won't understand anything this guy is saying, ha! But it's still pretty cool to see. This clip is a Vintage BATMAN Toy Collector in Mexico who shares some highlights from his collection. There are some really great items here to drool over! I really love some of these great Batmobile Cars.

Yes, "Batman" was stopped by Montgomery County Police Officers on Wednesday, March 21th, 2012 on southbound Route 29 at Prelude Drive, Silver Spring, for no tags on his Lamborghini-Batmobile. Hey, for real! This unidentified "Batman" is a real-life rich guy who just enjoys dressing-up like the Dark Knight to visit sick children in Hospitals. He says he wears the bat-suit TO the Hospital because it's extremely difficult to get into & also takes a lot of time. So, it's easier to just drive there "dressed for work".
NEW! For 2012!! Our Good Friend and Ace Bat-Reporter BatDave said he spotted a fun new piece of Batman Merchandise the other night while at Target, a Huge BATMAN BAT-SYMBOL LOGO BEACH TOWEL! It's the Classic Comic Book version, the "yellow oval"... sweet! It's 100% cotton, measures about 28" x 58", and has a decent Retail Price of $10.99. ( Thanks BatDave! ) Hey, keeping up with all the brand new Batman merchandise is going to be a nightmare soon so if ANY Bat-Blog Readers out there see anything fresh in stores then please let us know!
I'm pretty proud to say that this week's "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday" features some amazing artwork by Graphic Artist / Designer Christopher Franchi. He's a Good Friend to the Bat-Blog and was kind enough to make us these 2 Exclusive BATMAN Wallpapers! Now of course these 2 images pay tribute to the Classic 1989 BATMAN Movie directed by Tim Burton. OK, in the 1st wallpaper we get to see Michael Keaton as the Dark Knight, Kim Basinger as Vicki Vale, and Jack Nicholson's excellent version of The Joker! The Classic '89 Batmobile Car even makes an appearance! I like how the car is kicking-up some leaves as it blazes down the road, a nice touch. I also like the scenery of Gotham City with the Bat-Signal and the AXIS Chemical Plant, both great references. All the Characters/Actors are extremely well done. I mean, you can almost smell Kim Basinger's hair gel ( Hey, it was the Eighties, ha! ).Now, the 2nd Wallpaper's main focus is just on BATMAN. Yes, This is the Michael Keaton version most all Bat-Fans totally love! he's shown here in a famous "open wings" pose and the glowing Bat-Symbol in the back is a nice touch. Side Note: Franchi is working on getting the rights to produce a variation of this image as a Limited-Edition Art Print Poster and if we get more news about that we'll pass it on. It's also important to note that he altered the original image for our Bat-Blog "Wallpaper Format" and, if the art print is offered, it will look more like the "Vertical" example shown down below.
Here's an anonymous, but very excellent, photo sent in by a Bat-Blog Fan who recently got some Bat-Ink done! This image of BATMAN is awesome and the Tattoo Artist did a great job with both the shading & colors.
OK, a friend over at Facebook, named Eddie, shot this totally adorable photo that I knew we had to share here. The story is, He spotted this cute little BATGIRL at the recent 2012 Wondercon in Anaheim, CA. Yes, she is wayyyy too adorable! Great photo Eddie, thanks.

( Thanks Alex for telling us about the Shoes ).
Our Good Buddy Frank came across this most excellent Batman "Pencil Sketch" T-Shirt at Kohl's the other night and was nice enough to shoot us this wonderful photo ( Thanks Frank! ). I really like the design of this thing. The "Original Comic Book Art" motif is very cool! It seems like clothing with the Dark Knight is getting very popular and being sold almost everywhere, that's great! If any other BAT-BLOG Readers out there ( that includes YOU ) spot ANY brand-new Batman Merchandise anywhere then please let us know.
Check out this fresh new Bat-Tat submitted by a Bat-Blog Fan who recently got some ink done. He said his inspiration for this BATMAN TATTOO ART was the 1966 Batmobile Car designed by George Barris and this is the Classic BAT-LOGO Door Emblem. Yes, That's very very cool!
From NJ BatSquad Studios: Producer/star BatDave and Director Dennis Pellicano unleash yet another future holiday classic. Forget Gotham City, the streets of Dunajska Streda, Slovakia are now safe because of a character named Zoltan Kohari. Dressed as his favorite Comic Book Superhero, the Dark Knight, he patrols the streets keeping his city safe. He also helps old ladies carry their groceries, and calls the Police on seeing any unusual activity at night. Need more proof? Here's an official Slovakia News Broadcast:
