HOT TOYS just announced that the brand-new DX-9 "1989 MICHAEL KEATON BATMAN" Movie Figure will come with a Special BAT-SIGNAL Accessory! It's sort of a plastic shield you hold-up in front of a flashlight to project the Bat-Symbol on the wall. Woooo, exciting!

The figure is good, not great, just good and this is just because of the lot of flaws regarding the cowl sculpt, body sculpt, body into the suit to large in muscle proportions, wrong size of the belt and emblem, poor quality of the two gauntlets and the wounded face has the wounds all wrong. Now, the cape, boots, smiling face and serious face and hands are great, almost perfect. I really don't dig why they couldn't release a figure identical to the one in the picture, namely the prototype. Just taking a look at the belt color of the figure you get, compared to the figure in the pics, you can see Hot Toys did not do a good job here (despite the small letters saying that the final product may differ from the prototype shown)...Anyone who is fan of B89 for 20 odd years and knows the suit from head to toe like I do, will know what I'm talking about...

I ask the people of Hot Toys for a favor...Please release a second version of this figure and tell Mr Pan to research for more pictures, images, etc, that can serve as a reference to sculpt the cowl and suit...You can even contact me to give you the tons I have, that as a big fan of the Batman 89 movie I am, I could collect from the web without any hassle...So could you guys... Remember you're not NECA, your figures cost a lot of money, thus we deserve to get quality and looking at your other figures, you have shown you can deliver such.
