Animated Videos: 1930's BATMAN - TERROR OF THE MONK!!
WOW, next year will be the 70th Anniversary of Batman! Hard to believe huh? To celebrate this fact some very creative Bat-Fans made this very cool animation of an original 1930's Batman Vampire Story called TERROR OF THE MONK. It's shown here in 2 parts. The animation quality is pretty decent. OK, actually it's pretty good for being fan-made! I mean, it's not like these guys had a huge budget to do it. The voice acting was done by Adrian Sherlock ( Batman, Bruce Wayne ), George Ivanoff ( Monk, Dr Wertham, Young Bruce Wayne ), Karen McGoldrick ( Julie ), Sarah Breen ( Dala ), and Paul Potiki ( Narrator & misc Character Voices ). It was animated by Russell Devlin & Darren Maxwell. They used original Golden Age Batman comic book art that was originally done by Bob Kane & Sheldon Moldoff. Also, the original story was written by Garner Fox. Please leave a comment down below & let me know how you like it. I thought it was pretty cool!

Interesting. Was Julie's doctor named "Dr. Wertham"? Was that a reference to Dr. Frederic Wertham, author of the infamous Seduction Of The Innocent? Nice touch. I'm sure that couldn't have been that character's name in the original comic book.
OK, I have to admit that due to time constraints, I wasn't able to watch Part Two.
