Over at THE CAR ROOM they have an interesting video review of the Hot Wheels 1966 "Elite" Batmobile by Mattel. The one with the classic 60's TV Show design by George Barris. The detailing on this car is insane & it's quite a beauty. Just a thought on the limited edition of the elite 1/18th scale batmobile.
Is there really only 16966 made in the world? I say this because every hobby shop I have been to has boxes of them. Considering these cars was distributed world wide, there would have to be a lot more of them made. It does not add up if you think of all the hobby shops plus retailers in most western country's there must be more.
