Batman Fan-Made Film: BORN LAUGHING ( Heath Ledger's Joker )
"Born Laughing" was written to chronicle the early crimes of Christopher Nolan and Heath Ledger's incarnation of the Joker character. The acting is pretty good for a fan-film. Also, The Joker's costume, hair, & make-up look very much like Heath Ledger's version...nice!
Josh Davidson as The Joker. He did a creepy good job (although he probably needed to work on making the laugh sound a little more Joker insane).
The scene with Joker's face being splattered with blood as the gun went off was a nice touch. It was a good example of how we don't necessarily have to see a violent act for it to resonate the way it was meant to, similar to the 'pencil trick' scene in TDK.
The closeup visual of the Joker holding the card as he ignited it was also well done.
