I love that it's in the Bulgarian language and that country finally has some new bat-product there, very cool! Let's hope it does well and it might spawn more bat-merchandise there.
(Thanks Z!)
Here's a quick post to share this cool photo from a BAT-BLOG FACEBOOK Friend named Terry. This is a very High Quality, Custom Made, Hand-Built, Hungarian , Hi-Gain ELECTRIC AMP by KAOS. Very nice stuff!
These are made by a Hungarian company. They have a couple of production model amps, but their custom shop allows customers to choose their own face plates. Someone obviously chose wisely.
(Thanks Terry)
Here are 2 super-wacky fun "Batman-themed" Wallpapers you may use to brighten your desktop! They were created by me using some amazing photos sent in to us by our good buddy, BatDave.
He went to an event in New Jersey where they had a drag race between the 1966 Batmobile TV Car and the Monkeemobile! Oh yeah, and that's our buddy Benjy dressed-up as the Penguin, waak waak waak!
Please STAY TUNED TO THE BAT-BLOG because we will be featuring some video footage of this epic car race and you're not going to want to miss it!

OK, This post has been sort of difficult because I have had to use "Google Translation" software to figure out what it's even all about, ha ha! But the gist of the story is that Taiwan is celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Batman character with an event called, BATMAN: THE NIGHT RUN!
According to one Taiwanese News Story I read, BATMAN: NIGHT RUN starts January 10, 2015 and will be held at Kaohsiung Station. But I'm kind of confused on how they already have pics from this event (posted down below). Maybe it has already happened??
For more accurate information: Please visit their official website by clicking here, BATMAN NIGHT RUN.
They also have an Official FACEBOOK Fan Page with more news and photos, just CLICK HERE!
Here's a quick post to share an extremely cool photo of one of our Facebook Friends, Chris Cromelin. This pic was taken around 1979 or 1980. It looks like he has an awesome Bat-Belt! Looks like the one made by Remco™. The Black-Felt Batman Cowl is pretty cool too. YES, HE IS BATMAN!!
(Thanks Chris, you ROCK, Sir!)
OK, just for fun I thought I'd post these Batman Wallpapers that you guys can use to brighten your desktop. They feature a graphic drawn & designed by an Artist named Justin Peterson. Google him, his work is really good!
Oh yeah, this is the Adam West-version of the Dark Knight from the 1960's BATMAN Movie when he tried to get rid of a bomb and it turned into a nightmare, a classic scene!
Shown up above is a photo from our friend Stone Wong who was recently in Taipei (Taiwan) and he saw this HUGE "Bruce Wayne / Batman" advertising banner displayed at a CHOCOOLATE Retail Store location.
It features a graphic of Bruce Wayne from the new CGI cartoon. It's all about hyping the merchandise for their "Batman 75th Anniversary" Collection!
Chocoolate is a Hong Kong based company and they have many locations in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Macau, Singapore and Canada. Yes, they have one Canadian outlet, that's kinda weird!
Researching their website, I found out that they have a nice assortment of "75 Years of BATMAN" T-Shirts, Hoodies, Baseball Jerseys, Sweatshirts and even a Paper-Table Lamp! Down below are some pics found at their site. To visit, just CLICK HERE!
Just a quick post to share the news that TARGET STORES have some really fun "Classic 1966 TV BATMAN and JOKER" Christmas Ornaments!
(Thanks to our friend Alexander for sharing this nice pic)
Before the hype of the new "Batman Vs. Superman" movie, there was "Batman Vs. Gilligan's Island" on the Family Feud!

OW!! ZIPP!! BAMM! Check out this photo of the brand-new, recently released, Classic 1966 BATMAN TV Series Model Kit by MOEBIUS MODELS!
Yes, it's cool that they're coming out with these new model kits but the thing we're most excited about is the fact that the kick-ass packaging artwork featured on the box cover was done by our good friend, Christopher Franchi!

On Halloween Night 2014, DC Entertainment posted this special "75 YEARS OF BATMAN, 75 BATMEN" Promo Video that pays tribute to the 75th Anniversary of Batman and it's SO extremely cool!
Watch it and you can quickly enjoy (and remember) some of the the many great Comic Book Artists who have worked on the character over the years.
Greats like: Bob Kane, Dick Sprang, Carmine Infantino, Neal Adams, Jim Aparo, Norm Breyfogle, Jim Lee, Greg Capullo and many many more!!
(Thanks Fabio)
WHOA! Whoever owns this new Custom Camero just got some serious custom paint work done... and it's amazing! A friend of ours, over at the Official BAT-BLOG BATMAN Facebook Page, sent us these pics the other day. When I asked him if this was his car he replied, "No, These are some random photos I came across on the web and knew you just had to see them".
SEE THEM? LOL, YES!! We need to see them! Sharing the joy of collecting Batman Memorabilia and also caring about the character is what this site is all about! Oh man, I wish I knew who owned this car so I could give him a shout-out but if he sees this post, "Great Job Dude, this car is crazy-insane cool!"
Now, I would not want to drive this as my everyday car because I would be so stressed-out all the time worrying about getting into a wreck. That I might not be able to enjoy the ride! Ha Ha! But this thing would be incredibly fun for road tips, dates, weekend outings, etc... it would be EPIC!
The main theme of the car are the many different Actors who have played a wide variety of characters in various Batman Films. Very well done!
I'll shut-up now, just enjoy the pics. You can click on them for larger, more detailed, versions.
DC Entertainment should have titled this video "Two Hot & Nerdy Babes Play BATMAN: LEGO 3", ha ha! The fun thing about the game footage is the character skins & vehicles are all related to the '66 BATMAN TV Series. You can even hear Adam West's voice every now and then.
One of the things that I'm most happy about doing the BAT-BLOG is getting the opportunity to meet Batman Fans from all around the world. I've been on the Internet for a very long time and I'm still amazed about being able to have casual conversations with people from all around the world. Here's a great example!
Check out these fun pics sent to us all the way from Argentina. A friend named Mathias Martin Saucedo shared this set of BATMAN/JOKER TATTOO ART photos the other day. Yes, Matias got some Bat-Ink done! The Tattoo Artist's name is Juan Salinas and he is considered to be one of the very best tattoo artists living in Argentina.
The photos right here really prove that! Down below are some shots taken in the early "black ink line" stages. Then, up above, we get to see it all completed in it's full-color glory!
(Thanks Matias, your tattoo looks AWESOME! Please say "Hello and Congrats to Juan" for us, great job!)
Over at the Official BAT-BLOG FACEBOOK Page the other day a 60's TV Batman Fan, and very creative Artist, named Kristopher Krieg showed us some awesome fan art he has drawn and colored that is based on characters from the 1966 BATMAN TV Show!
His name is Kristopher Krieg and here is a video showing his, "BATMAN ROGUES GALLERY OF VILLAINS"!! It features almost every bad guy (and girl) from the Classic TV Series. We're talking ARCHER, all the way to ZELDA THE GREAT!
(Thanks Kristopher, Good Job!)
At this year's 2014 Comikaze Expo, going on right now, the Tweeterhead Company has set-up a booth showing off all their latest creations. One of the items is sure to bring tears of joy to the eyes of serious BATMAN FANS everywhere!
Check out this new Statue Maquette of THE PENGUIN as he appeared in the 1940's Golden Age of Comics. It's modeled a lot after the art style of Dick Sprang and is in the early prototype stage. It's gonna be a part of their "BATMAN CLASSICS COLLECTION" line.
It looks like the base is being made to connect with other statues. Oh yeah, there will be more of these. Stay tuned to the BAT-BLOG for all your future collecting news.
Personally, I really love this era a lot and I might have to buy these. Wait, I'm too poor, never mind!
In a previous post we shared some new images of THE PENGUIN "Batman Classics" Statue in prototype-mode. Now, here are a few other Batman-related pics from the Tweeterhead Universe!
First off I have to show this PINK BATMAN COWL, also known as the "Contaminated Cowl". It's about the same size as the head of the "Batman Adam West" Statue so I'm guessing that it's an accessory sold separately?? Sorry, I don't have much info on it yet, just speculating. Heck, it might not even be for sale. Their PR Dept kinda sucks, hee hee!
Next-up, and this pic is huge (click on it), is a totally cool movie prop replica from the 1960's BATMAN film. This is a "United Underworld" Plaque! It's shown here in the very early prototype stage. Tweeterhead showed this off at the latest Comikaze Expo.
Speaking of "Comikaze", they also premiered the ROBIN THE BOY WONDER Maquette (Burt Ward) from their line of Classic 1966 BATMAN TV Series Statues! It too, is shown in the extremely early prototype stages. but he looks great standing next to Batman (Adam West). The bases stand together to form "one image".
Oh man, this company just keeps coming out with incredibly awesome stuff that I can't afford to buy, AARRGGHH!
I noticed a tiny trend lately, Celebrities dressing up as Batman characters to get a little extra push on their PR for the publicity machine.
First up we have Ben McKenzie, the Actor who plays James Gordon on the new GOTHAM TV Series. He dressed up for Halloween this year as a much older version of Commissioner Jim Gordon!
But he's not the only one who donned Batman Costumes in 2014. Check out this pic of Neal Patrick Harris and his family as the Riddler, Joker, Batman, and Catwoman, very excellent!
But hey, this isn't anything new. In the early days of The Velvet Underground, Musicians Lou Reed and John Cale had a day job playing Batman and Robin at birthday parties in the 1960's, ha ha!
