In this fresh "SON OF BATMAN" promo video from DC Entertainment we get to see that Talia Al Ghul has created an an army of Ninja Man-Bats!!
Look for this to hit Blu-Ray and DVD on May 6th, 2014.
OK, out there in the retail world there's a thing called "Trade Ad Catalogs". They're just large magazines filled with advertisements by different manufacturers to get retail stores to stock their wares. They also mostly show-off their products and give prices. Here's an example of one catalog page advertising "Batman Toys" back in 1966.
(Thanks Janne!)
To celebrate 75 years of Batman here's a brand new short from producer Bruce Timm featuring a lost tale from Batman's past, the Dark Knight tracks a strange giant to the mysterious lair of Dr. Hugo Strange.
Don't miss other unique DC Nation shorts airing Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. (5:30 p.m. CST) on Cartoon Network during Teen Titans Go!
My favorite part about working and writing the Bat-Blog is getting to meet people from all over the globe who love "Batman". Here's a great example, check out this series of photos from a good friend named Marcos who recently found a Vintage "ARGENTINA PLASTIRAMA" BATMAN Costume!
He said he bought it from a guy that lives in Argentina. It is a very nice piece, almost mint, the only thing missing is the clear plastic on the window of the top lid of the box. This item is extremely RARE in ANY county, especially the US! Marcos was kind enough to send these incredible reference photos showing all the amazing retro-style artwork (Thank you Marcos!).
Here's some great news! The "Batman Animated Series" Director/Writer, Bruce Timm, will be returning to the character for a special TV animation one-shot on the Cartoon Network's DC NATION.
The show will air on April 9th and will feature a lost tale from Batman’s past: The Dark Knight tracks a strange giant to the mysterious lair of Dr. Hugo Strange.
This brand-new short will be titled, "Strange Days" and it already looks like it has a retro 1940's style to it, AWESOME! This vision is perfect timing for the #Batman75 Anniversary! Love it.
WOW! Check out this fun "Batman Tattoo" photo sent in to us by a Bat-Blog Fan in Portugal! His name is Bruno and he wants everybody to know that he loves the Dark Knight, the Caped Crusader... Batman! To prove it he recently had this Bat-Tat work done, very nice. Thanks for sharing this Bruno!
30 years have passed since Bruce Wayne survived Skynet's nuclear blasts in August of '97. Iron demons now roam the planet, and without the requirement to defend the innocent against crime and injustice, Wayne has sought refuge in the bomb shelter that saved his life; the Batcave.
"Having scavenged the wasteland for resources, he discovers the radio of a dead soldier. There is static over a frequency. Flesh and blood is rising up to the west. With The Stinger; a riot control vehicular unit built before the apocalypse along with a refitted bomb blast vest, Batman makes his way across what remains of the United States to join forces with the man determined to neutralize the electronic menace" - John Connor.
Original Concept - Tony Guerrero
Original Music - Noir Deco

Batman Arkham Knight is the Rocksteady's first next-gen game and last in its Arkham trilogy, due for Xbox One, PS4 and PC with a release date of October 14th, 2014. We're excited with the prospect of a bigger Gotham City, new combat trimmings and a drivable Batmobile, but here's hoping the creators of Arkham Asylum and Arkham City don't steer their game into any of these seven pitfalls.
Here's a quick post to share a few photos of some brand-new Batman items that are out there that you might wanna add to your collection. The first pic is a bag of BATMAN COTTON CANDY! I bought this last night at my local Super Wal-Mart (those are the stores that also have a grocery store inside). You can find these in the "Holiday Section" of the store where they're selling Easter stuff.
Then, check out these pics from a friend on FACEBOOK. He found these "Superhero Signs" at his local Hobby Lobby Store. I love that they used old stock art from the 1980's. In fact, the original artwork was done by José Luis García-López, a fan-favorite! (I have always loved his style).
Also, down below, is a photo of a "Justice League" Batman Electric Toothbrush that my Mom was kind enough to give me as a gift (Hey, it wasn't even my birthday!). She said she saw it at Target and it made her think of me, that's sweet. The graphics are pretty awesome!
The Plot:
Witness how the 1960's Batman became the Dark Knight.
Featuring Eric Gable portraying "Batman" doing authentic Ninjutsu moves. Also starring Joel Hebner as "Black Mask" and Mark Erman as "Robin, the Boy Wonder" with stunt team 87Eleven playing henchmen in this slick knockout black comedy action fest!!!
Check out this wonderful photo we just got from Adam West (1966 Batman) where he is showing off his brand-new grandson. It's a very sweet pic and we want to wish the West Family the very best. They're so blessed and Adam looks so proud here... that's beautiful.
