That's her in the 2 vintage family photos riding her favorite TV car, and then there's a more modern-day photo showing herself getting to visit the original car... AWESOME!

(Thanks Sandee for sharing your fun pics).

Oh yeah, just in case some of you have never seen the original TV Toy Commercial, or you're unfamiliar with this classic vintage toy, then check this out!

2014 NYC TOY FAIR - BATMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES Action Figures Getting Upgraded Reboot!

OK, Out of all the announcements made recently by DC Collectibles at the 2014 TOY FAIR this has got to be my total fan favorite!! They're bringing back the "Animated Series" TV characters as brand-new toys! In their teaser preview we get to see "Batman" from the New Batman Adventures and he really looks great! Then, we also get a look at a beautiful "Catwoman" from the earlier "Batman: The Animated Series".

Also, these new figures will be watched over by Paul Dini (Writer & Co-Producer of the original TV Series) so we know they will be super-accurate and super-fun too! I can't wait to see more of these!!

New 2014 DC DESIGNERS Action Figure Series Based on Greg Capullo BATMAN Comic Book Art

2014 TOY FAIR:

DC Collectibles just announced a brand-new Action Figure Toy line called the "DC Designers" Series. This first wave will be based on the BATMAN comic book artwork of Greg Capullo.

The first one shown here is the "Thrasher Armor" Batman, and then some great Super-Villains: Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, and Red Hood

New 2014 BATMAN LI'L GOTHAM Action Figures Based on Dustin Nguyen Comic Book Art

More good news from the recent 2014 TOY FAIR in NYC. DC Collectibles announced there will be a series of Action Figures based on the popular comic book series, BATMAN: LI'L GOTHAM.

So far it looks like they're gonna be making figures of Batman, Robin, The Joker, and Harley Quinn. Yes, I'm sure there will be many many more in this toy line.

New 2014 ZOMBIE BATMAN Black and White Statue and DC Cover Girls KATANA Statue

OK, as the last post in our news about brand-new Batman merchandise here are two more items to keep an eye out for in 2014. The first is another new addition to the "Batman: Black and White" Statue Series. This is "Zombie Batman" by Neal Adams. It's very appropriate since this was a one-shot character that appeared in the recent relaunch of  the"Batman: Black And White #1" comic book.

Next up, we get to see a beautiful statue of Katana... in a seriously lethal pose. This will be the next offering of the "DC Cover Girls" series.

Just like all the other reports, we have no exact release date at this moment. Basically, all of this stuff was announced at the recent 2014 TOY FAIR in New York City.

Filmation's 1968 TV Cartoon Series THE ADVENTURES OF BATMAN is Coming to DVD

The Adventures of Batman was an American animated television series produced by Lou Schiemer's Filmation studios. The shorts were broadcast as part of The Batman/Superman Hour in 1968. Over-the-top characters and catchy dramatic music cues gave this version of Batman a realistic look and feel-by cartoon standards of the day.

As you surely know by now, Warner is working on finally getting the 1966 live-action Batman series, starring Adam West and Burt Ward, to DVD at long last, sometime later this year. And you may recall that back in 2007, Warner Home Video released The New Adventures of Batman - The Complete Series on DVD, which was a Filmation-produced animated version starring the voices of West and Ward as cartoon versions of Batman and Robin.

However, back when the live-action Batman was still airing on ABC, there was a different Filmation-produced animated show broadcasting on CBS: The Adventures of Batman, with longtime character actor/voice actor Olan Soule as "Batman/Bruce Wayne," Casey Kasem as "Robin/Dick Grayson" and Ted Knight as "Commissioner Gordon." These 34 cartoons first aired in 1968 as part of The Batman/Superman Hour, then re-ran in 1969 as the 17 episodes of "The Adventures of Batman."

Today Warner Home Video has announced that all 34 installments (17 episodes) from Filmation's The Adventures of Batman will be released on DVD this coming June 3rd. The 2-disc set will cost about $19.99, and the package art is shown up above.

Oh yeah, here are the episodes:

"How Many Herring in a Wheelbarrow?"/ "A Bird Out of Hand"
"The Cool, Cruel Mr. Freeze"/ "The Joke's on Robin"
"Bubi, Bubi, Who's Got The Ruby?" / "Opera Buffa"
"The Nine Lives of Batman"/ "In Again, Out Again Penguin"
"The Big Birthday Caper"/ "Long John Joker"
"The Crime Computer"/ "1001 Faces of the Riddler"
"Partners in Peril"/ "Two Penguins Too Many"
"Hizzoner The Joker" / "The Underworld, Underground Caper"
"Will The Real Robin Please Stand Up" / "Freeze's Frozen Vikings"
"Simon the Pieman"/ "The Great Scarecrow Scare"
"My Crime is Your Crime"/ "Beware of Living Dolls"
"From Catwoman With Love" / "He Who Wipes The Ice, Goes To The Cooler"
"A Game of Cat and Mouse"/ "A Mad, Mad Tea Party"
"A Perfidious Pieman Is Simon"/ "Perilous Playthings"
"The Fiendishly Frigid Fraud" / "The Cool Cruel Christmas Caper"
"The Jigsaw Jeopardy"/ "Enter the Judge"
"It Takes Two to Make a Team" / "Wrath of the Riddler"

Fantasy Prototype - Complete Classic 1966 BATMAN TV Series Box Set

OK people, don't freak out!!! This is NOT the official artwork for the Complete Classic 1966 BATMAN TV Series Box Set!! No, whew! But we hope it can be.

Here's a prototype image of what the box could look like if the packaging design was created by our friend Christopher Franchi. Here is his proposed design and besides enjoying the realistic style  of the artwork, I totally love the idea of the background being holographic!

We think he's up for the job, what do you think?

GREAT VILLAINS OF GOTHAM Batman-Themed Art Gallery Exhibit in New York City

OK, This event is going on right NOW! It started Feb 1st! I usually try to list stuff like this here way in advance so people have a chance to mark it down on their calendars and go to the opening. Well, I got the news of this event, like practically an hour before it started, ha ha! So sorry for the lateness and, "Hey! The show is still hung-up and you can still go see it." That is, if you live near NYC.

It's all at the ONE-SHOT Art Gallery in New York City they're having a show called "Great Villains of Gotham" and, of course, it has a Batman-theme. If you don't live near NYC and can't go to the show, then please be sure to check out their online gallery. You can see way more examples that I show here. It's loaded down with a ton of very excellent artwork and when it came time for me to pick a few examples, it was tough, they're all great. I mainly decided to focus on different characters & then that would create variety. Anyways, we got the Joker, Riddler, Catwoman, Two-Face, Clayface, Mr. Freeze and many many more!
